Melissa Suzanne George, an Australian businesswoman and actress who also is a model and inventor. Her career began in Australia before moving to Hollywood, where she had great success. George is an Perth native, and was drawn at first in artistic skateboarding and dance. The modeling career she pursued began when she was in her teens, and she was awarded the title of Western Australia Teenage Model in 1992. In an episode from The Seven Network's Home and Away, she first appeared on screen within the year following. Her debut on the big screen was on screen in Dark City, a mystery thriller. Then she played a variety of supporting roles on projects like Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first major Hollywood appearance in The Amityville Horror remake. Her current role is among Hollywood's most sought after Australian ex-pats. George is an entrepreneur and created her unique invention Style Snaps to the market.
