Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer well recognized by her highly commendable performances in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. She won several awards like an Oscar for the movie Piano. Early on her acclaimed actress started performing on stage in several Broadway or Off-Broadway productions. From the time she was a child she's been passionate about performing. She was Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school production. Mumps led her to lose hearing in one her ears, but this didn't stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. When she was a teenager she studied drama, and then moved to New York City. Hunter came across Beth Henley by chance in the lift. Together they composed Broadway Crimes of the Heart. The play was Hunter's first acting debut. When she moved to Los Angeles, she began to look for film roles. She landed one as an actress supporting the leading character Swing Shift. Since then Holly Hunter has been featured in a variety of television movies and series. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was also awarded an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
