Allana Ferguson bio
Allana participated for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then suffered consecutive injuries to her knees which caused Allana on the sidelines. Allana returned to playing soccer after a few years. Allana was the first woman to make her debut in rugby league against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana has also added radio to her repertoire making regular appearances with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana, who is not only a sporty person as well as a teacher who has a a degree in education, has an extensive background outside sport. Allana Ferguson has the unique accomplishment of playing for Australia in three different sports: Rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the rugby union. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos athlete who played rugby league for many years but had to stop her playing career before the age of 25 because she injured her ACL four times. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament at the same knee between was between the ages of 15 and 17 and following a 4th tear, this meant that Ferguson's playing time was up. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth-year ACL injured, had to retire earlier. Ferguson was injured in her ACL last November while in training.
